Pretty upset that I won't be seeing my other niece Shyanne while I'm in South Jersey
She was supposed to be put on the plane less than an hour ago, but she was never checked in. Her mother likes to play games to harass her ex husband, and she basically ends up hurting her children in the process.
I miss my niece, and I haven’t seen her in so long, but I can tell her brother is even more upset. Once he is out of summer school, he will be going to his mother’s house for about five weeks, but initially, they were supposed to be spending nearly the entire summer together.
It still baffles me just how much a parent can put their own selfish needs and wants before the basic needs of their children.
Posting on Tumblr is like talking to your cat. You don’t know if they are listening, and you don’t know if they care, but for some reason, it still helps.

Update on Alfred
He’s ok, no infection. The vet used tissue glue to keep the eyelid together so it heals properly.
Also
He’s a girl.
So we’ve renamed her Felicia Hardy.
I’m pretty emotionally drained by this morning.
My baby kitten Alfred got hurt this morning.
He has a cut on his eyelid, but he seems like he’s ok
He’s just very frustrated that he has to be locked in a room by himself, to make sure that the other kittens don’t hurt him further.
My poor baby :(

It was your first con? I’m glad you enjoyed it then! I’m trying to get into the comics too, but it’s hard because there’s so much history and backstory! Once I get some money I’m gonna look into starting the new 52 series. :)
